Los vetones y otros muchos pueblos celtas practicaban sacrificios de animales y también de personas. Esculpido en granito, el altar de Ulaca se compone de tres partes: - la escalera de acceso a la parte alta (en el centro) donde se realizaba el sacrificio; - Una serie de concavidades interconectadas (a la derecha) por donde se vertería la sangre; - una serie de entalladuras escalonadas (a la izquierda) que se interpretan como marcadores astronómicos. |
