Title
Immaculate Conception known as La Cieguecita
Description

Statue of the adolescent Virgin Mary: Her shy and reserved posture, her half-closed eyes, have earned her the nickname of Cieguecita (Little Blind One).Richly adorned, she usually wears a crown whose stars represent the twelve tribes of Israel.

She tramples on a crescent moon, symbolising the sins that will be redeemed by the Christ she will give birth to. The cloud supported by the cherubs evokes her assumption and coronation.
