Title
Ceramic Vessel Sherd
Description
English: A small sherd of late Medieval to Post-Medieval pottery. The sherd is a flanged-rim sherd and is likely to be from an open form of vessel such as a bowl. A small patch of glaze can be seen c.12.00mm down from the rim on the inner surface. The sherd weighs 5.15g and has an incomplete height of 19.70mm. Use of a rim chart indicates that the vessel is likely to have had an external rim diameter of c.200mm and that approximately 3.75% of the rim is represented by this sherd. The fabric is an oxidised orange colour.
