Description
English: Tile and plaque commemorating Miguel de Cervantes in the Spanish city of Cartagena (Region of Murcia). In the tile is contemplated a lighthouse to which the shield of the city separate from a naval battle scene allusive to the Battle of Lepanto, in which participated the famous writer.
Under the tile is the plate that the City Council placed during the celebrations for the fourth centenary of the death of Cervantes.
Español: Azulejo y placa conmemorativa de Miguel de Cervantes en la ciudad española de Cartagena (Región de Murcia). En el primero se observa un faro al que el escudo de la ciudad separa de una escena de batalla alusiva al enfrentamiento de Lepanto, en el que participó el célebre escritor.
Bajo el azulejo se encuentra la placa que el Ayuntamiento colocó durante las celebraciones por el cuarto centenario del fallecimiento de Cervantes.
