Christopher W. Grady, second from right, and Vice Adm. James Foggo III, right, during a change of command ceremony held at Naval Support Activity, Naples Oct. 28, 2016. Foggo III turned over command of U.S. 6th Fleet and Naval Striking and Support Forces NATO to Grady in a ceremony presided over by Howard. U.S. 6th Fleet, headquartered in Naples, Italy, conducts the full spectrum of joint and naval operations, often in concert with joint, allied and interagency partners, in order to advance U.S. national interests and security and stability in Africa and Europe.
