English: In the late 1800s and early 1900s, a number of Seattle women started organizations to care for orphans and other children in need. In this photo, taken around 1911, a group of children at the Seattle Children's Home are brushing their teeth in a large bathroom. Their drying washcloths hang over the sinks.
