Title
Chinese Coin from Swinhope
Description
English: Copper alloy

Coin. Chinese Check, as identified by finder. Possibly milled disc with central square aperture; Chinese characters appear on both sides of coin but remain undeciphered by this reporter.

Robert Kawka kindly comments as follows:

Both image needs to be rotated 90 degrees anticlockwise. Coin of the Qianlong emperor 1736-1795. Obverse is right hand image which reads Qian long tong bao in Chinese. Reverse is written in Manchurian and difficult to make out from this image and would identify the mint. See link below to one of my coins on the Zeno website.
