Summary[edit]

Description The Chittenden County Trust Company Building, also known as the Merchants Bank Building, at 123 Church Street between College and Main Streets in Burlington, Vermont, was built in the Neo-Classical style for the Chittenden County Trust Company in 1931. It replaced part of the YMCA Block which burned down in 1928. The building wraps around the McAuliffe Building at 117 Church Street to its north, and has a facade at 173 College Street, as well as one on City Hall Park. The building is part of the City Hall Park Historic District, and is located on the Church Street Marketplace. (Source:[1])
