Omschrijving: Christus zit in Batanië aan tafel in het huis van Simon, degene die aan huidvraat had geleden. Een zondige vrouw (Maria Magdalena) giet uit een albasten flesje zeer kostbare olie uit over het hoofd van Christus. In het medaillon wast de vrouw de voeten van Christus en droogt ze met haar haren. Bij verschillende elementen uit de voorstelling staan letters. Boven de voorstelling een titel. Eronder zes versregels en een verwijzing naar Mattheüs 26: 6-7. De prent maakt deel uit van een album.

Toelichting
De prent is afkomstig uit: Bybels Lusthof. Amsterdam, J. Klooster, 1740. De prent werd gemaakt voor de uitgaven van P.J. Paets uit Amsterdam, verschenen in de jaren 1629-1648. Ze komt voor het eerst voor in: Der Zielen Lust-hof. Leuven, I.Jacbosz voor P.J. Paets [= Amsterdam, P.J. Paets], 1629. De voorstelling is gekopieerd naar een prent van Antonie II Wierix voor: Nadal, Jerónimo. Evangelicae Historiae Imagines. Antwerpen, M. Nutius, 1593.
