Omschrijving: Johannes hoort in de gevangenis over het optreden van Christus. Hij stuurt enkele van zijn leerlingen naar hem toe om hem vragen te stellen. In hun aanwezigheid geneest Christus blinden en kreupelen. Bij verschillende elementen uit de voorstelling staan letters. Boven de voorstelling een titel. Eronder zes versregels en een verwijzing naar Mattheüs 15: 30-31. De prent maakt deel uit van een album.

Toelichting
De prent is afkomstig uit: Bybels Lusthof. Amsterdam, J. Klooster, 1740. De prent werd gemaakt voor de uitgaven van P.J. Paets uit Amsterdam, verschenen in de jaren 1629-1648. Ze komt voor het eerst voor in: Der Zielen Lust-hof. Leuven, I.Jacbosz voor P.J. Paets [= Amsterdam, P.J. Paets], 1629. De voorstelling is gekopieerd naar een prent van Antonie II Wierix voor: Nadal, Jerónimo. Evangelicae Historiae Imagines. Antwerpen, M. Nutius, 1593.
