Omschrijving: Christus vertelt zijn leerlingen over zijn dood en opstanding. Links op de achtergrond toont Christus zich na zijn verrijzenis. Rechts door het venster is de hemelvaart van Christus te zien. De voorstelling is hier gebruikt als afbeelding van Christus die na zijn opstanding tegen zijn leerlingen zegt dat zij in Jeruzalem moeten blijven. Bij verschillende elementen uit de voorstelling staan letters. Boven de voorstelling een titel. Eronder zes versregels en een verwijzing naar Lucas 24: 48-49. De prent maakt deel uit van een album.

Toelichting
De prent is afkomstig uit: Bybels Lusthof. Amsterdam, J. Klooster, 1740. De prent werd gemaakt voor de uitgaven van P.J. Paets uit Amsterdam, verschenen in de jaren 1629-1648. Ze komt voor het eerst voor in: Der Zielen Lust-hof. Leuven, I.Jacbosz voor P.J. Paets [= Amsterdam, P.J. Paets], 1629. De voorstelling is gekopieerd naar een prent van Hieronymus Wierix voor: Nadal, Jerónimo. Evangelicae Historiae Imagines. Antwerpen, M. Nutius, 1593.
