Doña Eleuteria Punzalan financed its construction, while Don Paulino Gavino Oliva donated the church bell in 1867.[2] (Calauan town proper) Coordinates: 14°8'41"N 121°18'55"E [3] Church built through the efforts of Don Andres Roxas[4] ----- Calauan, Laguna, [5] Philippines - José Rizal, [6] ----------------- It belongs to the Roman Catholic Diocese of San Pablo [7] - Vicariate of the Immaculate Conception ----- Calauan, Laguna [8] is a second class municipality in the province of Laguna, Philippines. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 74,890 people.Website The town got its name from the term kalawang, which means rust. Calauan is known for the Pineapple Festival, which is celebrated every May.
