Title
Clay pipe
Description
English: A bowl of a clay pipe dating from c.1700-1900. The bowl is all that remains of the clay pipe, as the entire stem has been snapped off. Both sides of the bowl depict a castle like building, which have three towers. Below the castle there are some letters. One side looks as though it reads INNISKILLINGS, the other appears to read INNSKININ but the letters are not well defined. A leafy arch frames each castle. Above each castle is a blob, which could represent a crown. Further unidentifiable decorations are visible below the lettering.
