English: The Climax locomotive is shown here crossing a low wooden bridge of the Canungra Pine Creek Tramway hauling two bogies loaded with logs. It was the first steam locomotive used on the Canrunga-Pine Creek line, it started to run on 1st September 1903. It had been ordered from the USA in 1900 and was produced by the Climax Manufacturing Company of Corry, Pennsylvania. It was the first geared engine imported to Australia.
