English: Woman's dolman of black silk worsted mix (oriental satin); CF opening with front panels to knee length and back to waist level; imitation (false) sleeve panels not joined to front panels but incorporated into back; mandarin collar heavily trimmed with black lace; side-lower edges of front and lower edge of back-sleeve trimmed with black glass or (jet) beading and black lace; CB has ornamental braiding of chenille cord; hook and eye closure at neck; two sets of glass beaded and braided loops-toggles at CF; front and back lined in (linen); inside sleeve head supported with small padded rolls; probably worn by Catherine or Elizabeth Hastie.
