Description |
English: An incomplete lead cloth seal with two discs. The disc are oval in shape and measure 16mm by 12mm in size. One disc has a faint shield depicted on it, the other has a trace of what may be numbering of lettering but it is too worn to tell. Cloth seals were used to mark cloth for commercial sale and this example is likely to be post medieval c 17th century in date. |
