here's a nice long exposure, high quality shot, just as it was fully eclipsed. 2.5 seconds at iso400 through an f4.0 telescope on a mount. the clouds were coming in so it's a bit hazy (or cloudy, I guess) the upper right is only obscured by the earth's atmosphere while the rest is in full shadow. I suppose there's a name for this state, but I don't know what it is. -- I like it because of the color gradation across the moon, from red to pink to yellow to gray/white. |
