Pentref a chymuned ym mwrdeistref sirol Wrecsam, Cymru, yw Owrtyn. Saif 7 milltir (11 km) o dref Wrecsam a 22 milltir (35 km) o Gaer a'r Amwythig.

Dywedir fod y casgliad o 20 ywen sy'n tyfu ym mynwent Eglwys y Santes Fair yn un o Saith Rhyfeddod Cymru. Mae'r eglwys ei hun yn dyddio i'r tua'r 12g, ond mae'r coed yw rhwng 1500 a 2000 o flynyddoedd oed; oherwydd hyn, mae'n debygol fod yma eglwys Geltaidd cynharach yn y lleoliad hwn.
English: Overton yew tree, Overton conservation area, nr Wrexham, Wales - 20 trees - this one probably 2,000 years old. The Overton Conservation Area was first designated in 1971 and its boundary amended in February 1999.

The yew trees are traditionally one of the Seven Wonders of Wales and are commemorated in an anonymously written rhyme:

Pistyll Rhaeadr and Wrexham steeple,
Snowdon's mountain without its people,
Overton yew trees, St Winefride wells,
Llangollen bridge, and Gresford bells.
