DeskrifansCollie's Ledge, Sgurr Mhic Choinnich - geograph.org.uk - 1139456.jpg |
English: Collie's Ledge, Sgurr Mhic Choinnich In 1890 Professor Norman Collie discovered this route which follows a wide crack across the face of the mountain high above Coire Lagan. It provides a route along the main ridge here, avoiding serious climbing. Although exposed, in clear weather it presents little dificulty and one can walk upright. In the photo, taken looking south, the path can be seen in the bottom centre going diagonally to the centre right edge. |
