Description
Français : Collier de la Congrégation des hommes de Charlesbourg. Début du XX' siècle a Congrégation des Hommes de harlesbourg possède encore les trois olliers de cette association, dont celui du président et ceux de ses deux assistants. Le monogramme de Marie, les lettres A et M entrelacées, sert à la fois au décor du médaillon central et à la confection de la chaîne du collier. Cette congrégation làique réservée aux hommes et dédiée à la Sainte Vierge aurait été fondée à Charlesbourg par les Jésuites dans la deuxième moitié du XVIle siècle. Il faudra attendre les années 1980 avant que les femmes puissent faire partie de cette congrégation mariale. L’église Saint-Charles-Borromée est une église catholique située dans le quartier du Trait-Carré, dans l'arrondissement de Charlesbourg, à Québec, au Québec. Elle a été classée comme Immeuble patrimonial en 1959.
