Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Building in Columbus, Ohio. "The north-east corner of High and Cherry Streets was originally the site of three log cabins which housed the bakery and tavern of Christian Heyl. This photograph shows the Swan Tavern, also known as Heyl Tavern. It later became the Franklin House in 1841, and at a later date housed the business of Charles M. Hubbard, hay baler. The building was demolished on October 27, 1912. This corner then became the site of the Knickerbocker Theater."
