Title |
Combermere Abbey: Post-Medieval lead musket ball and pistol ball |
||
Description |
English: Two complete cast lead ammunition balls of Post-Medieval date (1500-1800 AD). The first is a pistol shot consisting of a solid irregular shaped sphere. The casting ridge can be seen on the shot and it has a dark green patina. The second, a musket ball, is much larger. Spherically it is more regular and it is grey in colour. No measurement details where taken at time of recording. Recorded at Combermere Abbey Rally in 2008. |
