| Description |
English: Confluence of Ambil Odha and Mutha River as seen from the riverbank in Pune. Ambil Odha is a stream that originates from hills near Katraj and moves towards the northern part of the city. It was a part of the water supply system in Pune during the Peshwa era but has been turned into a nullah over the years. The waste collected on the confluence can be seen in the central area of the image. It was inundated during the heavy rains that had lashed the city in 2019. |

This image was uploaded as part of Mula Mutha Nadi Darshan 2023 photography campaign cum contest. This photography contest was organised to document the Mula & Mutha rivers along with its tributaries in the Pune district on Wikimedia Commons in the form of images and videos with the involvement of active citizens during the time period of 15 May - 30 June 2023. Pune River Revival group, Jeevitnadi, Ecological Society, Samuchit Enviro Tech, Nisarg Sevak, National Society for Clean Cities etc. in Pune and CIS-A2K collaborated together to organise this contest. |
