Description
English: In the church Sainte-Marie there is a cross which is used for the Catenacciu. This is a procession on Good Friday where an enchained man (the catenacciu) is bearing this cross for penitence through the streets of Sartène.
Deutsch: In der Kirche Sainte-Marie in Sartène befindet sich ein Kreuz das für den sogenannten "Catenacciu", eine Karfreitagsprozession, Bedeutung hat. In einer Prozession trägt ein geketteter Mann (der catenacciu) das Kreuz als Zeichen der Buße durch die Stadt.
