English: Body of squat pear shape, on circular molded base. Molded band between body and flare neck. Applied scrolled handle. Body with "orange skin" texture overall, glazed in mauve. Raised decoration in white of floral rosettes and tendril vines; decoration highlighted with gilding. Jug fitted with hinged metal cover in the form of a domed shell. Thumbpiece above scroll handle fitted with ceramic button. |
