Description
English: One jewelled button probably from a cuff-link dating to the late 17th or mid 18th century. It has been cracked in situ. The button is circular with a flat back and a concave front, into which a faceted purple glass stone is set. The rim around the setting is beaded. The central integral shank has broken off. Information from UKDFD.
