Summary[edit]

Description

c/n 18448 Allocated US military serial 41-35927 but delivered directly to the RAF as ET573, later being transferred to Soviet Air Force. Recovered from a crash site in Murmansk in 1992 and flew again in April 2003 following a restoration in the USA and New Zealand using wings found in Canada. Now operated by the Military Aircraft Museum at Virginia Beach, VA. Seen departing to take part in the 2015 Arsenal of Democracy Flyover to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of VE Day and the end of WW2. Culpeper Regional Airport, Virginia, USA 8th May 2015

NOTE: This airframe was previously reported as c/n 18439 and US military serial 41-35918 but has now been confirmed as c/n 18448 and 41-35927
