Description

Décor d'anges sur la façade occidentale de la cathédrale Les anges jouant de la trompette ont été restaurés avec des parties nouvellement sculptées par les ateliers Enache.

La restauration de la façade a été terminée il y a seulement quelques mois. Les ateliers de sculpture Enache y ont fait un travail remarquable. L'église avait été très gravement endommagée lors des bombardements de septembre 1944. Auguste Perret avait décidé de la conserver malgré son état de ruine et de l'inclure dans un environnement de batiments nouveaux. respectant cet édifice historique.
