Deutsch: Der mittlere Teil des Ortswappens symbolisiert den sogenannten Löwenstein, einen Grenzstein, der ehedem die Grenze zwischen dem kurtrierischen Ort Görgeshausen und den zu Nassau-Diez gehörendem Gebiet anzeigte. Die beiden Lindenzweige versinnbildlichen die früher auf dem Kirchhügel inmitten des Dorfes stehenden Linden.
