Object history Das Wappen weist auf die jahrhundertelange Zugehörigkeit zur Abtei Prüm hin, was auf die Abtskrümme im unteren Schildteil zurück zu führen ist, während das Antoniuskreuz auf den Orts- und Kirchenpatron hinweist. Die durch Hüttingen fließende Kyll wird durch den Wellenschnitt symbolisiert.
