Object history
Deutsch: Als unheraldisches Siegelbild zeigte der Stempel des Schultheißenamts die Lein-Brücke mit der Nepomuk-Statue. In späteren Gemeindesiegeln wurde dieses Bild kurzerhand in eine schildförmige Umrahmung gesetzt. Im Jahre 1956 legte die Gemeinde mit Beratung durch die Archivdirektion Stuttgart ein heraldisch einwandfreies Wappen mit Farben fest. Es enthält einen Löwen aus dem Wappen des Hauses Rechberg, das vom 13. Jahrhundert an bis 1590 den Ort besessen hat, und die Mitra aus dem Wappen der Fürstpropstei Ellwangen, die bis 1803 Besitznachfolgerin gewesen ist. Das Innenministerium hat das Wappen und die Flagge am 15. Februar 1957 verliehen.
