Deutsch: Der Wellenschildfuß und die 4 Kreuze symbolisieren die mittelalterliche Grundherrschaft des Klosters Springiersbach in Mückeln. Noch heute gibt es den Klosterweiher als ehemaligen Fischweiher der früheren Augustinerabtei. Kreuze und Farben blau/gold sind dem Klosterwappen von 1731 entliehen. Orts- und Pfarrpatron ist der Hl. Bartholomäus, dem nach der Überlieferung bei lebendigem Leibe die Haut abgezogen wurde. Sein Attribut ist ein Messer, dass mittig im oberen Schildteil aufgelegt wurde. Das Eichenblatt mit angehängten Eicheln im vorderen Teil steht für das Naturdenkmal "Kaisereiche", aber auch für die waldreiche Umgebung. Musik, Gesang und Theater spielen seit Jahrzehnten im kulturellen und dörflichen Leben der kleinen Gemeinde eine herausragende Rolle. Die Historische Bühne Mückeln ist weit über den Landkreis Vulkaneifel mit seinen Theaterinszenierungen unter Verwendung historischer und heimatkundlicher Themen bekannt. Für Musik, Gesang, Theater wurde deshalb als Symbol der Violinschlüssel ausgewählt. |
