Deutsch: Der Mönch symbolisiert die Gründung des Ortes Münchweiler durch Mönche des Klosters Hornbach. Die drei Sparren stehen für das Haus Hanau-Lichtenberg, welches Jahrhunderte über den Ortsteil links der Rodalb herrschte. Der Schrägbalken ist das Wappen Badens; die badische Herrschaft Gräfenstein hatte den Ortsteil rechts der Rodalb.
