Deutsch: Aus dem 17. Jahrhundert ist für Oberelsbach ein Gerichtssiegel belegt mit den für den Ortsnamen redenden Elsenbäumen und einem Bach. Das Siegel geriet in Vergessenheit. Die Annahme dieses Bildes als Wappen erfolgte 1972.
