Object history
Deutsch: Der silberne Wellenbalken symbolisiert die Lage der Gemeinde an der Isar. Der Rost, Attribut des heiligen Laurentius, verweist auf den Kirchenpatron der Pfarrkirche von Otzing. Der Bischofsstab steht hier für den heiligen Nikolaus, den Kirchenpatron von Lailling, und repräsentiert zugleich das Gebiet der bis 1978 selbstständigen Gemeinde Lailling. Das Kleeblatt symbolisiert die vorwiegend landwirtschaftliche Struktur der Gemeinde Otzing. Die Tingierung in Silber und Blau unterstreicht die Bedeutung der wittelsbachischen Landesherren auch als Grundherren im Gemeindegebiet.
