Deutsch: Es wurde 1982 von der Bezirksregierung Neustadt genehmigt und geht zurück auf ein Siegel aus dem Jahr 1521. Der Erzengel Michael war der Patron des Klosters Klingenmünster, zu dem Pleisweiler gehörte.
