Deutsch: Das Wappenmuster stellt eine Verbindung zwischen der historischen Vergangenheit unseres Ortes und dem seit Jahrhunderten hier vorherrschenden Kannenbäckergewerbe dar. Die drei roten Querbalken auf silbernem Grund bezeichnen das Wappen der Herren von Reiffenberg, Westerwälder oder Horchheimer Linie, die jahrhundertelang als Herren des zu Ransbach gehörigen Erlenhofes gleichzeitig Grundherren von Ransbach waren (1476 bis 1745).
Der dargestellte Töpferkrug als Sinnbild des Kannenbäckergewerbes sowohl der früheren Gemeinde Ransbach wie auch der früheren Gemeinde Baumbach, enthält den “Ransbacher Hirsch” als Wahrzeichen, wie er auf den ältesten Ransbacher Kannen und Töpfen angebracht ist. Daher wird Ransbach-Baumbach oft auch als Töpferstadt im Herzen des Kannenbäckerlandes bezeichnet. |
