Object history Das Wappen erinnert mit seinen Symbolen an die beiden klerikalen Grundherr-schaften vor der Säkularisation - das Reichsstift St. Ulrich und Afra und das Augsburger Heilig-Geist-Spital. Das goldene Kreuz weist auf das Reichsstift St. Ulrich und Afra hin, das in Reitenbuch und Maingründel begütert war. Die silberne auffliegende Taube erinnert an das Augsburger Heilig-Geist-Spital, das Güter in Maingründel besaß.
