Object history
Deutsch: Die zentrale Wappenfigur, der Ziehbrunnen, stellt den seit mehr als 500 Jahren nachweisbaren so genannten Kapellenbrunnen in Theilenhofen dar. Östlich des Dorfes stand einst eine Kapelle, die dem Heiligen Leonhard geweiht war. Flurnamen wie Kapellenäcker und ein Kapellenbrunnen weisen auf die einstige Kapelle hin. Der Brunnen wurde zum Wahrzeichen des Ortes. Die Farben Silber und Schwarz erinnern an den Deutschen Orden, der in Theilenhofen begütert war, sowie auf die Dorfherrschaft der Burggrafen von Nürnberg seit 1371.
