Object history Das goldene Patriarchenkreuz ist das Symbol des Klosters Stuben (b. Bremm): dieses Kloster besaß bereits im Jahre 1190 eine Kapelle in Urschmitt; das Verhältnis zum Kloster blieb bis zur Versteigerung durch die Franzosen im Jahre 1807 bestehen. Das schwarze Schwert weißt auf den hl. Quirinus, der seit 1656 als Schutz. Und Kirchenpatron verehrt wird. Die goldenen Ähren und die silberne Sichel im grünen Feld sollen an die Entstehungsgeschichte der Gemeinde als Rodungsort und landwirtschaftlicher Gutshof erinnern.
