Object history
Deutsch: Walsdorf war ebenso wie der zu ihm zählende Ortsteil Zilsdorf während der Feudalzeit reichsunmittelbarer Besitz der Herzöge von Arenberg. Sie führten in ihrem Wappen in Rot drei goldene Mispelblüten mit blauen Butzen. Im Ortswappen sind sie auf dem schräg linken roten Balken zu sehen. Kirchen und Ortspatron in Walsdorf ist seit alters her der heilige Arnulph. Er führt als Symbol einen Ring. Kapellen- und Ortspatron von Zilsdorf ist der heilige Antonius von Padua. Sein Attribut ist die Lilie.
