Description

On June 29, 2016, the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Diplomatic Security hosted a ceremony at the National Museum of the Marine Corps to honor the 70th anniversary of the Marine Security Guard (MSG) program and the 100th anniversary of the Diplomatic Security Service (DSS).

In addition to the ceremony, DSS displayed for the public some of its armored vehicles, tactical equipment, and explosives-detecting canines used in its security and law enforcement mission.
