Description

Museu episcopal de Vic. 9-8-2019. Taller d'Erill, primera meitat del s. XII. Fusta d'alba i noguera amb restes de policromia al tremp. Provinent de l'església de Santa Eulàlia d'Erill la Vall. La Vall de Boí (Alta Ribagorça).

Aquest grup escultòric representa el moment en que Josep d'Arimatea i Nicodem baixen el Crist mort de la Creu. Al costat hi ha les figures dels dos lladres Dimes i Gestes. Les figures de Maria i Sant Joan es conserven al Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya.
