Centsprent met een litho, bestaande uit 3 x 3 afbeeldingen over het thema dat men elkaar moet helpen op deze wereld. Een ezel houdt zich niet aan deze leefregel. Beladen met korven gaat hij op pad met zijn meester en diens hond. De meester valt in slaap onder een boom en de ezel gaat grazen. De hond verzoekt de ezel te bukken zodat hij uit diens korf kan eten. De ezel weigert dit en raadt de hond aan te wachten tot de meester wakker wordt. Dan komt er een oude hongerige wolf langs die de ezel wil opvreten. De hond raadt de ezel aan te wachten tot de meester wakker wordt. De wolf bijt de ezel de strot door. Bevat onderschriften in Nederlands en Frans
