Description
Oblong centsprent met 2 x 4 omkaderde houtsneden met op de bovenste rij afbeeldingen van een vrouw die aankondigt dat haar man gaat hardlopen. Hij geeft een fluitsignaal, rent dan voorzien van klinkende bellen door de stad, valt en breekt beide benen. Op de onderste rij drie invaliden: een met een wagentje met een hondje bespannen, een invalide neger met pijp, een invalide met twee houten benen en krukken, en als laatste plaatje de vrouw die met de hond danst om geld te verdienen. Korte onderschriften in Nederlands en Frans. In de tekst wordt gesuggereerd dat de invaliden dezelfde man zijn, maar het beeld spreekt dat tegen.
