Centsprent met 4 x 2 niet omkaderde houtsneden, met op de bovenste rij Franse en Russische soldaten die op elkaar schieten, enkele gesneuvelden liggen op de grond. Op de 2e rij de bestorming door de Fransen van Moskou en de verdediging van de stad; op de 3e rij: de gesneuvelden worden begraven en krijgsgevangenen opgebracht; onderaan: Moskou staat in brand en de Fransen vluchten. Het betreft de veldtocht van Napoleon naar Moskou in 1812. Bevat eenregelige rijmende onderschriften in Nederlands en Frans.
