Description
Centsprent met 4 x 3 omkaderde houtsneden, met sterk verkorte bewerkingen naar de sprookjes van Charles Perrault: Klein Duimpje en Roodkapje. De ouders van Klein Duimpje laten hen, door armoede gedwongen, achter in het bos. Na bidden tot de goede God komen de kinderen weer terug, maar worden even later weer in het bos achtergelaten. Ze ontvluchten het huis van een Wildeman die hen wil doden, hij achtervolgt hen, maar als hij slaapt pakt Klerin Duimpje zijn laarzen, gaat naar het Wildeman's huis, neemt al het geld mee en keert terug naar zijn treurige ouders. Roodkapje gaat naar grootmoeder, vertelt onderweg aan de wolf waar ze heen gaat, en deze vreet grootmoeder op. Als Roodkapje komt, vraagt de wolf haar in bed te komen, wat ze graag doet, ' en met Roodkapje is 't gedaan'. Bevat zesregelige rijmende onderschriften.
