Deal matrix: Pierced burning heart
Description
English: Copper alloy seal matrix with oval face and short handle in the shape of a flattened hexagon, terminating in a single collar and a broken suspension loop. Top third of the face has been snapped off. Device of a heart pierced by two arrows in saltire, fletchings uppermost. Above the heart a series of short lines, and above this, the bottom of a letter; the rest was on the missing portion of the matrix. A tiny burning heart in each of the remaining angles formed by the arrows. Edge of face surrounded by a beaded line. Measurements: 15 mm x 12 mm, 12 mm high; weight approx. 3 g.
