Description
English: The Fly 3 Petty Officer directs an S-3B Viking as it folds its wings on the flight deck of the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) on May 5, 1999, after completing a NATO Operation Allied Force mission. Roosevelt and its embarked Carrier Air Wing 8 are operating in the Adriatic Sea in support of Operation Allied Force which is the air operation against targets in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. The Viking is attached to Air Anti-Submarine Squadron 24, Naval Air Station Cecil Field, Fla.
