Description

Der Dronketurm auf dem Mäuseberg bei Daun zwischen Gemündener Maar und Totenmaar. Er wurde von 1902 erbaut als Denkmal für Adolf Dronke, den Gründungsvater des Eifelvereins.

The 10.5m high Adolf-Dronke tower on the Mäuseberg, between Gemündener and Weinfelder Maar.

Adolf Dronke (1837-1898) was a German schoolmaster. He was founder and first chairman of the Eifelverein. His memorial tower was built on the summit of the Mäusebergs (Mice Mountain) in the Vulkaneifel county.
